GMAIL is down. Sept. 1, 2009

Google is down. For more than 30 mins now, I’ve been trying to login to my GMail Account. I also tried my companies email service hosted at Google Apps, it’s also down.
Hmm. I wonder what’s going on?

Update: 5:15 EST service for gmail are back online.
After refreshing the google apps page for my companies email i got this:

Both service were back online at around 5:20 EST.

DISNEY TO ACQUIRE MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT
No one ever saw this coming. Entertainment giant Walt Disney Company just announced that they are acquiring Marvel and it’s 5,000 characters. Looks like our superheroes are going to Disneyland, hope they like the company of Mickey, Donald, Goofy oh and the 7 dwarfs.

Watermelon can soon power our car. Imagine that.

Researchers at the U.S. Department of Agriculture found that leftover watermelons from a typical U.S. harvest could be converted to up to 9.4 million liters (2.5 million gallons) annually of clean ethanol fuel, which could be used to power cars, trucks, and even airplanes.
